• For Consuelo, unhurried strolls along the beach are about as good as life can get

• The Jersey Shore - alive with shells, stones, and oceanic treasures of all kinds - is her home, her happy place, her medium, and her muse.

• Connie founded Tidal Tears in 2016 as a passion project to marry her love of the ocean with her talent of crafting expressive, one-of-a-kind designs

• Art had never been just a hobby, but her calling – to the chagrin of her conservative parents and guidance counselors who steered her toward more traditional “female” careers in her youth

• Today, she shares her love of the natural world as a trilingual artist with passport stamps and a trove of sea glass collectibles from around the globe

• Vacation: Neither a place nor an event, but a state of mind

• Striking, ocean-inspired pieces, handcrafted with a mother’s delicate touch

• Sea glass - in its myriad shapes, sizes, textures, and colors – is molded by the weather and the waves over time. It’s a totem of renewal, healing, and transformation, (and makes for beautiful accent pieces!)
